适值中法两国建交五十五周年之际，为进一步推动广州湾历史及中法关系史研究，岭南师范学院岭南文化研究院拟于2019年12月6日到10日，在广东省湛江市举行“第二届广州湾历史文化国际学术研讨会”。
近年来，我们一直致力于建设海内外学者共同参与的学术交流平台，随着2016年12月首届研讨会的举行，广州湾历史及其文化遗产日益受到学界关注和讨论。广州湾曾是近代法国在华唯一租借地，又是中国沿海条约口岸之一和粤西南地区主要港口，为此本届研讨会诚邀各界研究者讨论以下议题：

The Second International Conference
on Guangzhouwan’s History and Culture

Dear Madam/Sir，
2019 marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. The Second International Conference on Guangzhouwan’s History and Culture is to be held from December 6 to 10,2019,in Lingnan Culture Academy of Lingnan Normal University, Zhanjiang, Guangdong, China.
Our Academy commits itself to the establishment of an academic platform which gathers scholars nationwide and abroad. With the holding of the first international conference on Guangzhouwan’s History and Culture held in December 2016, Guangzhouwan (Kwang Chow Wan) has attracted more and more attention from academia.Being the sole French leased territory (politically attached to French Indochina) in modern China, Guangzhouwan was also a treaty port and continues to serve as a major transportation hub in southwest Guangdong. It is in light of the increasing awareness of the importance of Guangzhouwan, the second conference now calls for paper submission.
This conference invites researchers to discuss the following topics:
•History of the leased territory of Guangzhouwan
•Collection and Archiving of historical materials on Guangzhouwan in either Chinese or foreign language
•Connections between Guangzhouwan and Vietnam/ Hong Kong/ Macau/ Canton
•Comparison with other leased territories and French concessions in China
•French colonial expansion and governance in East Asia
•Study on the Theory of Colonial History
•Conservation and inheritance on cultural heritages of Guangzhouwan

La deuxième conférence internationale
de l’histoire et la culture de Guangzhouwan

Respectable Madame/Monsieur,
L'année 2019 marque le 55e anniversaire de l'établissement des relations diplomatiques entre la Chine et la France. La deuxième conférence internationale sur l’histoire et la culture de Guangzhouwan se tiendra du 6 au 10 décembre 2019 à Zhanjiang, Guangdong, en Chine, la Conférence a été organisée par l'université normale de LingNan.
Notre Académie s’engage à mettre en place une plateforme académique regroupant des chercheurs chinois et internationaux. À la suite de la première conférence internationale de «L’histoire et la culture de Guangzhouwan» qui s’est tenue en décembre 2016, les études de Guangzhouwan retenaient l’attention des chercheurs du monde entier. En tant que seul territoire à bail français (politiquement lié à l'Indochine française) en Chine, Guangzhouwan (également orthographié Kouang-Tchéou-Wan) était aussi un port de traité et il sert aujourd’hui comme port principal dans le sud-ouest du Guangdong. En même temps, l’histoire et la culture de Guangzhouwan restent encore méconnues. Cela nous pousse à organiser cette deuxième rencontre.
Les chercheurs ont été invités à examiner les questions suivantes:
•Histoire du territoire à bail de Guangzhouwan
•Collecte et analyse de documents historiques (en chinois ou en langue étrangère) de Guangzhouwan
•Liens historiques entre Guangzhouwan et le Vietnam / Hong Kong / Macao / Canton
•Études comparatives entre Guangzhouwan et les autres concessions étrangères en Chine
•Expansion coloniale française et gouvernance en Extrême–Orient
•Théorie de l 'histoire coloniale
•Protection et transmission du patrimoine culturel moderne de Guangzhouwan
