Zhanjiang Daily, May 31:   O n the morning of May 30, the 2018 Summer Camp for Confucius Classroom  of   Belarusian State University of Physical Culture  (BSUPC) officially kicked off. The summer camp is sponsored by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) and undertaken by Lingnan Normal University  (LNU)  and BSUPC .

 

In ten days, the 21 teachers and students from BSUPC and the students from LNU will carry out rich and colorful activities such as cultural study, art performance and sports competition. They will experience the summer camp activities with various cultural and fun elements, appreciate the Chinese culture and distinctive local traditions and customs, and better understand the Chinese traditional culture.

It is reported that since LNU and BSUPC jointly held the "Confucius Classroom" featuring Chinese martial arts culture and tea culture in 2015, the curriculum content has become more and more diversified, the number of teaching sites has gradually increased, and the influence has been continuously strengthened. In 2017, the two sides held the summer camp for the "Confucius Classroom" for the first time. The Sino-Belarus Philosophy & Culture Research Center jointly established by LNU and the Institute of Philosophy of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is becoming a more and more important platform for Sino-Belarus cultural exchanges.
