According to her, LNU has always attached great importance to the cooperation and exchange with Thai schools and signed cooperation agreements with 31 schools and education institutions in Thailand. Since 2004, LNU and Rajamangala University of Technology have sent students to each other's schools for two months of exchange and study every year. In recent years, LNU has sent 12 batches of about 500 interns to Thailand's primary and secondary schools for paid internship. In the past two years, 45 college students from Rajamangala University of Technology, Rangsit University and ChiangMai Rajabhat University participated in the two overseas Chinese youth summer camps organized by LNU. This time's camp members have a certain level of Chinese communication after receiving good Chinese education in Thai schools. The Thai teachers and students are sure to benefit a lot from this learning and cultural experience and further appreciate the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
According to JAKKREE PHANSOMBAT, Principal of Liming Middle School in Thailand, Thai schools are paying more and more attention to Chinese education, and this experience camp is a rare opportunity. He hopes that the Thai students can experience the rich and colorful Chinese culture in the camp, deepen the communication with Chinese students and bring Chinese culture and Lingnan culture back to Thailand to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries. "The teachers and students of LNU are very enthusiastic and the food is delicious." Li Xingyou shared the joy of his first visit to LNU and hoped that the campers could bring Chinese culture and Lingnan culture back to Thailand to promote further cultural exchanges between the two countries.
"I'm Thai. I like Chinese very much." At the ceremony, 26 Thai primary and secondary school students introduced themselves in simple and fluent Chinese.
After the ceremony, the leaders and teachers from both sides also discussed the possibility of some cooperative projects, such as Thai primary and secondary school Chinese teachers coming to our school for professional training and Our Chinese International Education majors going to Thailand for professional internship in primary and secondary schools. On behalf of our school, Zheng Zhijun, Director of the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation, welcomed Thai primary and secondary school students to study undergraduate programs in LNU after their graduation from high school
