On September 11 in Belarus, it was a peaceful and sunny day in the capital Minsk. A distinguished guest - President Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko of Belarus paid a visit to Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. The Confucius Classroom co-hosted by Lingnan Normal University and BSUPC was invited to give an extraordinary performance of traditional Chinese sports and culture for Mr. President.

September 11 was the election day of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. BSUPC is a designated polling place in the residence area of the Belarusian President. At 11:00 a.m. in Minsk, President Lukashenko came to BSUPC in company with his son Nikalay, who was representing flowers to a staff member of the election committee.

Chinese students from LNU performed Chinese Tai Chi, Wing Chun, collective Southern Fist, sword fighting skills, Long Fist and other Chinese Wushu and were warmly applauded by the spectators.
