On the morning of July 5, Zhanjiang-Taiwan University Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition was held in the library of LNU to build a cross-strait communication platform and display innovation and entrepreneurship achievements of students on both side. President-General Wu Ching-chi of Taiwan Education University System and the leader of Taiwan Delegation, President Wu Lien-Shang of National Kaohsiung Normal University, LNU Party Secretary Luo Hai'ou, Deputy Secretary Peng Quanqun and other guests attended this event.
It's learnt that Zhanjiang-Taiwan University Students Exhibition is a thematic event of 2016 Zhanjiang-Taiwan University Students Summer Camp. On that morning after the opening ceremony of Zhanjiang-Taiwan summer camp, leaders and guests walked to LNU library for the opening ceremony of Zhanjiang-Taiwan University Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition. They went over every exhibit and discussed with students on site.
In the exhibition, students from Zhanjiang and Taiwan displayed their excellent entrepreneurship works and presented distinct innovation ideas, such as mulberry vinegar effervescent tablet developed by LNU Genesis Team, a play house conceived by National Taipei University of Education Team to develop children's self-help skills, and a resource sharing café project jointly created by Guangdong Ocean University Team. These entrepreneurship works have various kinds and diverse forms. Student representatives confidently explained and presented their works and leaders spoke highly of their accomplishments in academic research innovation. They also discussed with students about the new direction of research outcomes and projects and offered their instructions. The students present will undoubtedly benefit a lot from the exhibition.
It's learnt that Zhanjiang-Taiwan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition is one of the events of 2016 Zhanjiang-Taiwan Summer Camp, aiming to facilitate sharing and exchanges of innovation and entrepreneurship ideas and achievements between Zhanjiang and Taiwan students. More than 50 excellent works made by students from Taiwan universities, Guangdong Ocean University, Guangdong Medical University and LNU were displayed in the exhibition. Students and teachers communicated with and learnt from each other. Taiwan and Zhanjiang students exchanged their opinions on entrepreneurship ideas and academic research, creating a sound academic environment and striving for cross-strait innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
