At the meeting

LNU News Center: On the morning of October 20, the delegation of 23 people from Rangsit University (RSU), led by Director Amporn Puapradit and lecturer Nuananong Panmanee of the Department of International Business from the School of Business Administration, and Basic Bilingual Coordinator Prinda Setabundhu and Basic Bilingual lecturer Tonkao Nitasganjananon from the School of Art and Design, visited Lingnan Normal University (LNU). Zheng Zhijun, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation, Qiao Zhiqiang, Deputy Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Ms. Cheng Weijie from the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation had a meeting with Thai guests in the No. 2 Conference Room of the School Administration Building.

At the meeting, Zheng Zhijun first extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students of RSU, and introduced the history, the faculty, the training of talents and the achievements in international exchange of LNU in recent years. He also recalled the cooperation between LNU and Thai universities, and expressed the hope to carry out exchanges of teachers and students with RSU. Amporn Puapradit expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the hospitality of LNU and introduced the campus environment, disciplines, student life, etc. of RSU, especially about the exchange of art majors.

After the meeting, the two sides exchanged souvenirs. Afterwards, Cheng Weijie took the teachers and students of RSU to visit LNU campus. On the same day, the School of Fine Arts and the School of Business also exchanged views with RSU guests. The RSU students had a rough study of freehand flower and bird painting as well as paper cutting, and visited the photography studio of the School of Fine Arts.

It is learnt that RSU sent a teacher and 14 students to participate in the 10-day “2015 Overseas Chinese Youth Summer Camp” held by LNU in July this year. This visit by RSU teachers and students further deepened the exchanges between the two universities, laying a sound foundation for future cooperation.
