“The people here are very friendly and hospitable. We feel the different charm of Lingnan Normal University (LNU) at the University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Base,” said visitors. On the morning of May 30, the teachers and students of the Summer Camp for Confucius Classroom of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (BSUPC) at LNU visited the University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Base. They listened to the commentator’s explanations and experienced the unique entrepreneurship culture of LNU. According to the instructions of Li Fawu, Secretary of the Chinese Communist Youth League Committee at LNU, Li Renyu and Li Jiashu, members of the CCYL Committee, teams at the training base, and staff members of the training base accompanied the summer camp members in the visit.

On the arrival of the summer camp members at the training base, LNU teachers and students who had waited a long time greeted them in Chinese, English and Russian. Just as the old Chinese saying goes, it is a great pleasure to have friends coming from afar. The commentator introduced the training base starting from its name, which showed the innovative enthusiasm of LNU students and aroused the interest of Belarusian teachers and students. When it came to the achievements made in the “Challenge Cup” competition for university students, the summer camp members expressed great interest in some of the projects. They asked about the participant team's research direction, daily work, etc., and took photos of the achievements. The training base was full of laughter and vitality. Later, when reading business plans prepared by LNU students, the members said they wanted to know more and hoped to enrich their knowledge in this visit. In the Honor Room, the members marveled at certificates of invention and certificates of awards in the “Challenge Cup” competition on the wall and trophies on the display stand, LNU students were also happy about and proud of their great achievements for the training base.

Though the short and interesting visit ended, cultural exchanges and innovation and entrepreneurship will continue. We hope that all summer camp members will participate in the following activities with enthusiasm and curiosity, feel the charm of LNU and experience the Chinese culture. We also hope that the innovation and entrepreneurship of LNU students will be more diverse and creative!
