The most beautiful summer shines for you
Typhoon brought a refreshing and cooling feeling to Zhanjiang in May while Belarusian friends brought us the sincerest friendship. On the evening of June 6, the Closing Ceremony and Evening Party of the 2018 Summer Camp for Confucius Classroom of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (BSUPC) at Lingnan Normal University (LNU) were held at Room 420, Hongyuan.

It is well known that Li Bai and Du Fu are prominent Chinese poets of the Tang dynasty. As China’s cultural treasure, Tang and Song poetry have always been popular thanks to their catchy features. A Belarusian student recited a poem for the audience and experienced the beauty of poetry.

Chinese poetry is like mellow wine, making the reader enjoy it. How about a performance of poetry? It must create different effect! LNU students performed the Chinese poem How Much Sorrow Do You Have, showing the artistic conception of the poem with their performance.

The audience spontaneously sang the song I Love You, China, which was the last song of the party. They turned on the flash lamps on their mobile phones, waved their hands and sang out loudly, expressing their deepest love for China, their compliments to the profound Chinese language and culture, their admiration for the exquisite craftsmanship, and their yearning for the long history. The party came to a close with the song and everyone’s reluctance to part.
