On November 14th, 2020, two foreign teachers, Robert and Yvonne, returned to our university.
Ever since January 2020, Robert and Yvonne have been traveling overseas. Their plan was changed by the Covid-19 pandemic, they have to stay overseas for more than 10 months. On October 30th, they finally went back to China from Malaysia. From Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou, they crossed two countries. The distance of this long journey can not stop them come back. After 14 days of medical observation in Guangzhou, on November 14th, they set off from Guangzhou and returned to Lingnan Normal University, the place where they’ve worked and lived for years.
In the afternoon, the teacher from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, along with the staff from Cunjin Street Office and a police officer from Cunjin Police Station, went to the apartment of the two teachers and expressed warm welcome to them. The teacher from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation warmly greet them firstly, and then helped the staff of Street Office to communicate with two foreign teachers. She helped the foreign teachers to fill in the forms Street Office required and explained the matters that foreign teachers should pay attention to after returning to LNU.

At last. Robert and Yvonne expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the dedicated support and care from the university. Let’s say welcome home to Robert and Yvonne once again !
