   湛江市位于中国大陆最南端，南临海南岛和南海，西靠广西、越南，地理位置十分优越，是中国大陆通向东南亚最短航向的必经之地，也是中国最早的沿海对外开放城市之一。交通四通八达，有飞机、铁路、高速公路、海上国际航运等等。

   岭南师范学院位于湛江市中心，毗邻寸金桥公园和瑞云湖公园，构成了一园一湖一校“三位一体”的独特位置。

Zhanjiang City lies geographically at the most southern point of Chinese Mainland, facing Hainan Island and South China Sea, neighboring Guangxi Province of China and Vietnam. It is not only the unique place of the shortest way from Chinese Mainland to Southeast Asia but also one of the 14 coastal cities in China that took the earliest step to open to the world. The city connects itself conveniently with different parts of the world with its airport, railway, superhighway and seaports.

With subtropical climate, Zhanjiang has beautiful scenery and is like in spring all the year round. As a seaside city, Zhanjiang is the best city in China to enjoy abundant seafood cuisine. Moreover, the places of historical and cultural interest attract tourists from all over the world.

Lingnan Normal University (LNU) lies in the downtown of Zhanjiang, neighboring Cunjin Park and Ruiyunhu Park, which forms the unique location of “Park-Lake-University” trinity.

办学历史HISTORY

   岭南师范学院是广东省属本科师范院校，学校办学历史悠久、文化底蕴深厚。从1904年开始设立师范科教育，至今已为各行各业培养十六万多名毕业生。岭南师范学院是一所以教师教育见长的多学科综合性师范院校。2007年以优秀的成绩通过教育部本科教学工作水平评估。2010年，学校被列为广东省新增硕士学位授权立项建设单位。

LNU is a provincial undergraduate normal university with a long history and profound culture. The university began to train teachers in 1904. Up to now it has trained over one hundred and sixty thousand graduates for all walks of life. It is a comprehensive and multidisciplinary normal university which is dedicated to teacher education. In 2007, it successfully passed the assessment with a mark of excellence for its teaching level by the Ministry of Education. In 2010, LNU was authorized as a newly-listed university for construction of master’s degree conferment by Guangdong Provincial Government.

办学规模 SCHOOL SCALE

学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工1,700余人，其中“珠江学者”1名，高级职称教师550多名，硕士学位以上教师近1300名。学校现建有21个二级学院（部），设有师范类和非师范类本科专业70个，涵盖了经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、农学、管理学、艺术等十个学科门类，形成较完整的人才培养体系。全日制在校本科生约23,000人。

LNU has over 1,700 staffs, including 1 “Pearl River Scholar”, 550 teachers with high-professional title and nearly 1,300 teachers with master degree. At present, LNU comprises 21 schools (departments) offering 70 undergraduate teacher-training and non-teacher-training specialties covering ten disciplines: economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agronomy, management and arts with a quite complete talent-training system. The number of the full-time undergraduates is nearly 23,000.

办学条件 SCHOOL CONDITIONS

   学校办学条件优良。主校区现有校园面积近1,009亩，校舍建筑面积58万平方米，教学仪器设备固定资产总值近2.63亿元，图书馆拥有纸质藏书242万册，中外文纸质现期刊1,934种、电子期刊109万册。学校设有教育研究院、新材料研究院、岭南文化研究院、国学研究院和广东省特殊儿童发展与教育重点实验室共五个校级研究机构。校园环境优美，人文氛围浓厚，富有南方海滨园林学府特色。

LNU has excellent school conditions. Its main campus covers nearly 68 hectares, with a total area of 580,000 square meters and fixed assets of the teaching apparatus amounting to nearly 263 million yuan. The library has a collection of 2.42 million volumes of paper books, 1,934 kinds of current Chinese and foreign journals as well as more than 1.09 million kinds of electronic periodicals. Three institutes were built respectively for education, new materials, Lingnan culture, Sinology and Guangdong Key Laboratory of Development and Education of Special Children. LNU has become a beautiful university with a dense atmosphere of academy and humanism, characterized as a garden-like seaside university in the south of China.

国际交流与合作 INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE & COOPERATION

   学校注重开展教育国际交流与合作。1998年开始招收外国留学生，现已培养培训长短期留学生近一千人。同日本、英国、泰国、韩国、印度尼西亚、美国、加拿大、越南、白俄罗斯、乌克兰、俄罗斯、澳大利亚、芬兰、马来西亚、菲律宾、爱尔兰和港澳台地区的80多所境外高校和教育机构建立了紧密的合作关系，共同开展学术交流、专业合作、教育培训、教师互聘和学生跨文化交流活动。学校于2017年与白俄罗斯国家科学院哲学研究院共同建立“中白哲学文化研究中心”；与爱尔兰高威—梅努斯理工学院合作的烹饪与营养教育专业本科教育项目于2019年获我国教育部批准举办；与白俄罗斯国立体育大学共同成立孔子学院。

LNU attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation with other organizations. Since 1998 when the university began to recruit overseas students, it has trained over nearly 1,000 long-term and short-term overseas students. It has developed close cooperative relationships with more than 80 universities and educational institutions in countries and regions such as Japan, the United Kingdom, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, the United States, Canada, Vietnam, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Australia, Finland, Malaysia, Philippines, Ireland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. There are frequent international academic exchanges, professional cooperations, educational trainings, teachers’ mutual employment and students’ cross-cultural exchanges with foreign organizations. In 2017, LNU and the Institute of Philosophy of National Academy of Science, Belarus jointly established the "Sino-Belarusian Research Center of Philosophy and Culture". The cooperative undergraduate education program of Cuisine and Nutrition Education between LNU and Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Ireland (GMIT) was approved by the Ministry of Education in 2019. LNU and Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (BSUPC) jointly established Confucius Institute.

学习、生活设施 STUDYING & LIVING FACILITIES

  岭南师范学院内的学习和生活设施有大型图书馆、体育馆、健身中心、游泳池、运动场、篮球场、网球场、羽毛球场、饮食中心、医院、银行、邮电局、超级市场等，一应俱全，满足学生不同的需要。学生宿舍一般2-4人一间，每间设有独立卫生间、热水淋浴室、饮水机、空调、洗衣机，每生配有一固定组合桌柜（可放电脑、书籍、衣服）。宿舍还配有高速接入的宽带互联网，为学生提供周到、方便的国际互联网服务。这些设施将确保学生在这里的学习和生活丰富多彩。详情请参照收费标准。

LNU is well-equipped with all kinds of studying and living facilities to meet students’ needs. There is a large-scale library, gymnasium, fitness center, swimming pool, playground, courts for basketball, tennis and badminton, dining centers, clinic, bank, post office and supermarket. As for accommodation, generally, two to four students share a room, which is equipped with a washroom, a hot water bathroom, a water dispenser, an air conditioner and a washing machine. Every student has a wardrobe and a desk set for his/her computer and books. Besides, the broadband network is also available in dormitories. 学校特色：建设中国特色文化专业、推广中华文化

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: CONSTRUCTING MAJORS WITH CHINESE CHARACTERISTIC CULTURE TO SPREAD CHINESE CULTURE

   2008年，学校被命名为“广东省中华文化传承基地”。本着自身浓厚的文化底蕴、悠久的办学历史，学校不断推广中华文化，开设中国书法、对外武术、对外汉语、烹饪与营养等具有中国传统文化特色的专业和中国国画、中国乐器、民歌、舞蹈、武术、舞龙、舞狮、赛龙舟、保健推拿、中国烹饪、华文写作和中国历史等中华文化课程。

  LNU was named as the Base for Conveying and Spreading Chinese Culture in Guangdong Province in 2008. With a long history and rich cultural deposits, the university has set up majors with Chinese traditional culture such as Chinese Calligraphy, Teaching Martial Arts to Foreign Students, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and Cookery and Alimentation, and offered courses about Chinese culture such as Chinese National Painting, Chinese Musical Instrument, Chinese Folk Music, Chinese Traditional Dance, Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Dragon Dance, Chinese Lion Dance, Chinese Dragon Boat Race, Health Care Massage, Chinese Cookery, Chinese Writing and Chinese History.

专业介绍PROGRAMS AND SPECIALTIES

一、非学历课程班（为无汉语基础学生而设）

1. 汉语言与文化课程

半年：基础汉语、汉语发音、听力、会话、阅读、中国文化；

一年（大学预科）：基础汉语、汉语发音、听力、会话、阅读、汉字书写、书法、中国文化。

1. 一年汉语学习+专业学习

学习方式：外国留学生免试来岭南师范学院学习一年汉语后，如通过HSK考试，即可根据自己的需要留在本校继续学习本科专业。（详情请参照我校本科专业目录）

NON-DEGREE PROGRAMS (Designed to overseas students with zero based knowledge of the Chinese Language and Culture)

1. Chinese Language & Culture:

A. Duration: One tern

Courses offered include Elementary Chinese, Chinese Pronunciation, Listening Comprehension, Speaking, Reading and Chinese Culture.

B. Duration: One year (Pre-college class)

Courses offered include Elementary Chinese, Chinese Pronunciation, Listening Comprehension, Speaking, Reading, Chinese Character Writing, Calligraphy and Chinese Culture.

2. Chinese Language Learning (One academic year) + Major Study

Learning Arrangement: Foreign students will be enrolled without entrance examinations by LNU to learn Chinese. An academic year later, if you pass HSK, you may choose to stay in LNU to continue to further your study for B.A. or B.S. (Please refer to the programs for degree.).

二、岭南师范学院学历教育专业简介 INTRODUCTION TO DEGREE MAJORS

申请入学要求ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1、凡自愿来华学习并遵守中华人民共和国法律、法令和学校的有关规章制度，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯，身体健康的外国人、外籍华人、华侨均可申请入学。

2、申请我校以中文为专业教学语言的学科、专业，中文能力要求应当至少达到《国际汉语能力标准》四级水平。对于以英语为专业教学语言的学科、专业，英语能力要求应当至少达到雅思5.5分水平。

3、大学预科班及大学本科班要求高中毕业或具有同等学历，年龄在16-25周岁。汉语学习班及其他短期学习、进修班不受此限。

4、我校来华留学本科生可申请广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金及岭南师范学院优秀来华留学生奖学金，奖学金金额最高为14,800元(含广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金)。

5、报名时间：本校实行双学期制，第一学期为九月至次年一月，第二学期为二月至七月。本科班报名截止日期为每年的六月二十日，短期班和进修班不受此限。

l. Foreigners, Chinese of foreign citizenship and overseas Chinese, who are healthy, interested in studying in China, willing to observe the laws and decrees of Chinese Government and the rules and regulations of the university and respect Chinese customs, may apply to the university for admission.

2. To apply for the majors in which LNU uses Chinese as the teaching language of instruction, the Chinese language proficiency requirement should reach at least Level 4 of the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales For Speakers of Other Languages or its equivalent. For majors that use English as the teaching language of instruction, the English proficiency requirement should reach at least IELTS 5.5 or its equivalent.

3. Applicants who would like to take a pre-college class or a class of 4-year undergraduate programs must have a high-school diploma or its equivalent and must be 16 to 25 years old. Applicants who would like to study in various kinds of short-term classes are not subjected to any age limit or diploma limit and are exempted from examinations.

4. Undergraduate students studying in LNU can apply for Guangdong Government Outstanding   International Student Scholarship and LNU Outstanding International Student scholarship. The maximum scholarship amount is 14,800 RMB (including Guangdong Government Outstanding   International Student Scholarship).

5. Registration Time: LNU practices a system of two semesters every academic year. The first semester is from September to January and the second from February to July. June 20^th each year is the deadline for submission of application for the academic year for long-term applicants. Candidates for short-term programs or any non-degree further study can apply during semesters.

申请程序APPLICAION PROCEDURES

1、申请入学者完整填写并向我校国际交流与合作处提交《入学申请表》。

2、申请者将400元人民币报名费及下列材料提交给国际交流与合作处,以便办理有关手续:

1)本科（含大学预科生）：① 入学申请表；

② 高中毕业证书、汉语翻译件及中国驻外大使馆认证件；

③ 高中成绩单、汉语翻译件及中国驻外大使馆认证件；

④ 以中文为专业教学语言的学科、专业：HSK四级证书或岭南师范学院中文水平内测考试成绩单；

以英语为专业教学语言的学科、专业：雅思成绩单或岭南师范学院英语水平内测考试成绩单；

⑤ 无犯罪记录证明(当地警察局出具)、汉语翻译件及中国驻外大使馆认证件；

⑥ 外国人体格检查记录表；

⑦ 银行存款证明五万元人民币。

注：预科生可暂时不要求语言成绩。

2)各类短期生：入学申请表、学习计划。

3、被录取者将收到我校发出的《入学通知书》、《JW202表》、《外国人体格检查表》，并持上述文件及护照到所在国的中华人民共和国使（领）馆办理入境签证手续。

l. Applicants are supposed to completely fill in the application form and hand in the form to the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation (OIEC) of LNU.  

2. Applicants should submit the following materials with RMB 400 admission fee to OIEC of LNU：

A. Applicants of 4-year Undergraduate Program (including applicants of Pre-college Program):

① Application form;

② High-school diploma, Chinese translation and Chinese embassy certification;

③ Transcript of complete high-school academic records, Chinese translation and Chinese embassy certification;

④ The majors that use Chinese as the teaching language of instruction: certificate of HSK Level 4 or the transcript of Chinese Language Proficiency Internal Test of LNU;

The majors that use English as the teaching language of instruction: transcript of IELTS or the transcript of English Proficiency Internal Test of LNU;

⑤ Non-criminal record (made by local police station), Chinese translation and Chinese embassy certification;

⑥ Physical examination record for foreigner;

⑦ Bank deposit certificate of 50,000 RMB.

Note: Language certificate is not required for applicants of Pre-college Program.

B. Applicants of Short-term Program: application form and study plan.

1. Applicants admitted by our university will receive an Admission Notice, a Visa Application for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China (JW202 Form) and a Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, with which he /she can present to a nearby Chinese Embassy or Consulate for an entry visa to China.

    

   收费标准 TUITION&FEES

   1、报名费：400元/人。

   2、学费：短期生报到时一次性交清学费，长期生可分学期或年度缴交。

3、住宿费: 短期生报到时一次性交清住宿费，长期生可分学期或学年缴费(0.63元/度电，免水费)。

4、膳食费: 约20元/天/人，丰俭由人。

5、保险费: 约1,000元/学年/人。

6、学生的教材费、医疗费、热水、个人外出交通费、实习费、参观费等自理。

7、学生在未开课前提出转学或退学，学费退80%，学习期间不退学费。

8、另有协议者，各项收费标准按双方达成的协议缴交。

l. Admission Fee: 400 RMB/person.

2. Tuition: Students of short-term programs pay all the fees when registering. Students of long-term programs could pay their tuition per semester or per year in advance.

3. Dormitory Fees：Students of short-term programs pay all the fees when registering. Students of long-term programs could pay fees per semester or per year in advance (Electricity: 0.63RMB /kWh, water is free).

4. Fees for Board: About 20 RMB /day/person

5. Insurance: About 1,000 RMB/year/person

6. The fees for books, medicine, hot water, transportation, internship, visit, and so on, are borne by students themselves.

7. Eighty percent of tuition could be returned if students apply for transferring or leaving school before the courses start. Tuition could not be returned during the study period.

8. Any other agreement-involved students could pay fees according to the agreed charge.
